Default Ref 160M Grabs Stereophile honors

The Ref160M tied as amplification product of the year with Pass Labs XA60.8 monos. Nice win!

Not only are those fugly, but the system needs the "Ivan treatment" for the cables. That is not a knock on their sonic performance. Just listen with your eyes closed.

I don’t know how or why those are red as they only come in silver or black in which they look great

They are Livio Cucuzza's personal pair. He designed them and had them custom-finished.

Let me also add that if you are a fan of ARC or sonus Faber, you should be following Livio on social media.

Not True. ARC will custom paint ANY of their products if your willing to pay for it. Dave Gordon told me that personally last year.

The Red is pretty bad, but I've seen and heard the silver model and they're good looking amps. Ever since the merger with the Mcintosh group ARCs products are more pleasing on the eyes. Great sounding too.
