Doesn't look like you will be doing much outdoor cooking tomorrow. Coverage returns at 9 p.m.
Ms. Legge has taken her toll on the Mazdas and herself, spinning out both. OK with me.............. go Cadillac. Talk about bad luck........... Mazda 55 limps back to the garage after the smack by Legge and the next lap Mazda 77 catches fire on track.

Both Corvettes back on same lap. Running 4&7. Top 5 are close in GTLM. Porsche, BMW, Ford, Ferrari and Corvette.

Very wet at sunrise. Several teams asking for the race to be red-flagged rather than simply lapping behind the pace car.
Corvette slid off for a couple of hundred yards at turn #1. Now running 7 laps & 14 laps back after the off-track excursion. While still a while to go, looks like next year. Cadillac running 1 & 4 in DPi. Weather forecast looks to make it a boat-race to the end. The lone MB still leading GTD. Red flag. Very wet. Bummer.

If nothing else, the yellow/red bunched things up. Could be some exciting racing to the end. If they go green for any period of time.
Back to "racing" (sort of). The one 4min green result in two ruined cars & stopped car before back to yellow.

Not to be cynical but IMHO the only reason they re-started at 0900 was because TV coverage started. That took out three DT cars and now we get to watch them circle under yellow so the sponsors get their 30 seconds spots.
No good/fair/safe racing can happen here for some time.

No argument there. Could well be the places are set and it will be a 'march to the flag'. Hopefully, it will lighten up (forecast doesn't look good) and you'll get to watch some green-flag racing.
