Edit - i found a pic which shows one of the sides.

My room dimensions are 12x13x9' with the back wall open to much larger space. Speakers along the 12' dimension. In this small room absorbing the reflection from the opposite wall also seemed to improve things. Thickness doesn't seem to matter on the second reflection.

I have installed on first reflection 1*244 on each side (left and right) and 3*244 on the ceiling.

They are thick.

If you can AND Glenn et al agree it would sound okay, for esthetics I would try 242s first in your room. Or mix and match. Your ceilings are high enough such that you could put 244s there and perhaps 242s on the side walls.

Sorry about the delay on posting in this thread.

The 242 for sure will work fine for the early reflection points. We do recommend the 244 when ever possible though to increase low end control. Not mandatory.

As crwilli said, if you have dipoles, use nothing absorbent behind your speakers. Use diffusion only, if anything.

If your speakers are cones you may want absorption behind your speakers.
