Always has been IMO with that massive 15 inch passive radiator in the rear -- sort of like a speaker with a sub.

Best Sirs,

Bob

Awesome and so cool -- brings back memories for me - (owned Forte II's 20+ years ago).

What's your initial impression after the 1st couple minutes? First thought(s)?

Best Sir,

Bob

Initial impressions out of the box and plugged in...the Cornwalls will fit nicely.

I'm really enjoying the fuller sound than what I had before. I had a pair of monitor speakers, so picking up a lower octave is so pleasing to my ears. These are doing what I had hoped at lower volumes too.

I have to get these speakers setup properly, isolation and some jumpers to start...but so far I'm very happy.

Is it an illusion, or are the front baffles of the Forte III angled inward?

Illusion I Imagine -- my iPhone does that on certain photos & have to adjust the photo'd objects to make it appear 'normal.'

Best Sir,

Bob

I was using a 21mm wide angle lens. In all fairness though, the speakers were toed inwards a bit.

The Forte III are boxed and gone. A very nice speaker for sure. The Cornwall III are due in today...
