Default Hong Kong Hi Fi Show 2010

Was in Hong Kong for a few days to attend the 2010 Hi Fi Show.
I will post some pictures in the next few days including the Wilson room which I stayed the most time listening.
Stay tune guys!

This year HKG's Hi Fi Show is held at the famous Hong Kong Convention Center located in Wanchai, Hong Kong Island.

Hong Kong is home to one of the biggest audiophile market in the world. Hong Kong which caters to China is now the biggest market for hi end products in the world. This is according to some hi end manufacturers attending the show.

First room I stopped by is the Audio Note Room.
The dealer was using the hi end AN-E Loudspeakers driven with top of the line AN pre-amp.

Interesting was their AN Turn table:

The sound of this room was very transparent & detailed. Many people liked this room. It was always full and crowded. Lucky I was there very early.

Another closer look of their amps & pre-amps:

Calix Room driven with some tube company (JE Audio- Balanced vacuum tube amplifiers) i heard the first time around. It sounded very promising.

Personally, the German Physic Room with Analog Domain Audio amplification (http://analogdomain.eu/) is one of the best sounds I liked during the show:

This is one serious amplifications!

SLM,

I liked the Audio Domain amps as well. 4000 watts into 8ohms I think!!!!! Only problem was the meter which was way to bright!

Dynaudio room with their elegant but simple looking speakers.. For some odd reason, the amp driving them didn't seem to have enough power to drive them properly. A bit disappointing.

Artemis Labs with Verity Audio Speakers. The 18watter monoblocks based on a 300b circuit sounded mighty fine with these speakers:

Burmester Room (impressive as always):

Something new for me: Adam Audio Speakers (http://www.adam-audio.com/en/home-audio/products)

I love the ancilliary gears. EMT Phono stage with Amazon TTs:

To say the least: spectators all over the room!!

THX 4 the pictures...I'm really curious how that Burmester B100 compares to other speakers regardless of price.
