Well guys phone tag again with Marantz, this has been going on over a week, not counting the player being gone since 2/4/10. I'm not a happy camper right now and have reservations recommending Marantz to anyone, plus I've owned Marantz products since 1975 one would think they would take this into consideration. Bullshit!

Snowstorm hits the east coast for the last two days. Still no returned calls and guess what, still no player. It never ends.

Dave
I hope it is not them giving you the Snowjob and just the bad weather that is preventing them from calling you. Good Luck...

I should have had the player by now. RA#'s, phone calls, emails, you name it. Actually it should have been here last Friday but no that did not happen. I am very disappointed with Marantz to say the least.

Called Marantz yesterday, they told me the typical bs and said the warrenty department had the unit and would be contacting me sometime this week. Yeah right, don't hold my breath cause it's been there since last Monday not counting being without the player since 2/4/2010. Everytime I call these people it's the same bs, no need to leave a message since they don't return calls or out of the office!

No excuses Marantz.

Spoke with Marantz on 3/3 10:45 am. Finally got someone to tell me what was going on. I'm supposed to be receiving a brand new SA11S2 by Wed. or Fri. of next week.

We shall see....

That is really good news Dave. Now if they will only do what they have promised. The S2 should really be sweet, even though, since you now pronounce that "Vinyl Rules", you may never even turn it on.

How did you finally get to talk to a real person this time?

I vote for your old Avatar.
