Default 2009 World Series

Any thoughts/wishes for the winner of this years World Series? Each team has some power hitters, good pitching & each has their deepseated/steadfast fans (not to mention Phillies are reigning champions).

Should be a good series -- at least 6 games (be great to go 7).

Myself, I'm for the Yankees --

I like both teams. I grew up a yankee fan living in North Jersey. Now I live in a suburb of Philadelphia. I would like to see Philadelphia win 2 in a row as the players on this team make about 10 million a year on average less then the starting team players on the Yankees. Call it poetic justice

2 in a row would be pretty cool for Phillies.

Since the evil empire swept my Twins in the ALCS, I'm cheerin' for the Phils. Even though I think the Yankees are just too darn tough this year.

Bottom of the ninth, game 1, Phils wining six to zip. Could be the first shut out for the yankees in game 1 of the world series and this the 40th world series the yanks have been in.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. The Phillies looked good tonight. And they did it on the road, and against CC too boot.
