Boy did the pre-amp allow the dynamic range of this well recorded track to shine.

Piano concerto No. 3 & Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini - III. Finalle: Alla breve

Jim - that's awesome. Love the play by play! You're a pioneer! A lucky pioneer at that.

It would be unfair to summarize what I am hearing after just a couple of hours of listening. Give me a couple of days as I let it break in a bit. I sure haven't heard anything I don't like so far.

I have no idea whether your preferences will lean towards the Dart's or the Momentum's when your pre-amp arrives. I do know that if the Dart wins it truly must be a stellar performer.

I am guessing I need to thank either Dan or Ivan for blowing up the photos. I will take time to get better shots the next couple of day.

Hi Jim,

I suspect the combination of the two brands might be perfect. Based on what I am hearing now, I have a feeling the D'ag gear will have a little fuller tone and a little more meat on the bones compared to the Dart combo. So far the Dart combo is outrageous. I can not wait to try the Dag preamp and combo.

ps I think I need to experiment with cables.

I really don't want to end todays listening session. The longer this pre-amp has been on the better everything track is sounding.

I do not remember actually being able to hear a device break-in by the hour.
