Default When will replacement for Ref. 150Se be released?
Come new year; I will be getting Ref. 6 and GS150. But I would rather wait for the replacement for Ref. 150se. Do you think it will happen soon?

Don't know. ARC tends to be very secretive about product changes.

The GS 150 is a fantastic amp. Get one and don't look back!

I heard the Ref 750Se last week. Very impressive but darn that will be a chunk of change when its time to re-tube those puppies.

I was in the market for a Ref150SE to add to my Ref5SE...A GS150 dropped into my system for a demo, while my Ref75se was in the shop...I really wanted the Ref look, but the GS150 has grown on me, and the trade in deal was something that I could not pass up...I'm likely keeping the GS150. As people on this site have suggested in other threads, the Gs150 is supposed to the their best amp yet...and yes....I'll probably get the Ref 6 later, as I heard the synergy with the GS150 is amazing...Pete

Looking at the past, ARC sometimes goes on a 4yr product cycle. In the case of an upgrade such as the SE upgrade, that can stretch to 6yr. (Look at the Ref 5 + SE as a recent example.)

The Ref 150SE is in the Ref150 family. The Ref 150 came out, when... 2011? The SE upgrade came out circa 2015? So, by that speculation, somewhere between late 2017 and 2018 is a possibility.

All I know is that they are very secretive about this stuff. You won't know until they are shipping.
