Hi there, I just got a Gryphon Diablo to pair with Dynaudio C1s. Wondering what cables do you guys use with Gryphons. Any options for consideration? Thanks.

Look...i use crystal cables ultra with excellent results on focus 380 and speaker didnt played at full potential until i put these babys...i wouldnt change them for nothin...bass is tight clean fast, details are presented smooth and delicate, very neutral-non colored cable, timbre and vocals rendering is first class...im also diablo owner and that machine is so clinical on equipment...very neutral...you must feed it with gear of similiar pedigree or you will not hear its potential...on some less priced cables sound was much sharper and not so smooth and natural...so when you talk c1s...im thinking that cables will be more crucial and even more rewarding than on my focus...but i got myself very good cables so by the end of the year if all goes as planed i will jump on c4s mk2 and wont need to change them...on numerous gear combinations we tried these cables they showed world class caracter(or lack of) and excellent synergy...yes they are pricey....but i got them at fair price so im even more satisfied....

No doubt Siltech & Crystal cables are a perfect match for Gryphon products. I understand that Gryphon's own branded cables are rebadged Slitech Royal Signature specialty OEM.

I remember Mr. Rasmussen owner of Gryphon said that that was only rumor and they only collaborated with Siltech on one series of Gryphon cables so Gryphon designes and making their own cables alone...nevertheless excellent cables that have great sinergy with all gear i tried...

Raindog, are you referring to the Gryphon cables on the comment on 'great synergy'? I am trying out Gryphon's Guideline Ref ic and M5 pc now. The ic seems to be a bit soft at the top. The power cord has a big open warm sound which seems to complement the amp well.
