I like Kal's writing style. At least he has an opinion.

Most mags love, and endorse everything they test, then encrypt one short sentence, at the end of the article. Which leaves you wondering "what does that exactly mean?"

I apologize, I did not mean to offend any GM owners/dealers; my comment was more about the financial state of the company vs. the financial state of McIntosh labs (hence the "these days" qualification.) We all have opinions, but I will be more careful expressing them since I would like to keep this forum friendly.

Agreed. I self-moderated by removing my original message (go to Edit message, then click delete). I am not going to suggest that other people should do the same, but I do like the idea of self-moderating a lot. It might take a while for us to get good at it, but I - for one - I am going to try.

In any case, I do think it's best not to deviate too much from the original thread - especially if the "deviation" gets into controversial territory.

Okay I removed my post too. Too bad references to the Billy Mays of vinyl stay.

I have the magazine, but haven't read the article yet. When I glanced at the photos of the MC303, the first thought across my mind was a pair of the MC303's tri-amping my PMC EB1i's. Hmm
