Default The Room

THE ROOM experience

My Friend and associate, Carlos Monagas, un fulfill dream was to visit
Ivan's Home theater room called "THE ROOM".
Me a 2ch guy was not motivated as Him but accepted to go if Ivan let us go.
With a friendly email He respond that when we want to we can go.
With lighting speed my friend Made the arrangements to visit Ivan last week.
Just parking the car outside of Ivans house He was waiting for us with a big smile, that was nice.
He show us His wonderful house starting with his Garage or can I say Showroom, wow!!!
Awesome collection of wheels. Then we met the family, down to earth beautiful family, they treat us
like we met many times before. When you arrive to a house you never been before and they treat you
like Family you know they are good people. Masterlu-jr is a fun person to talk to And he has
the same love and passion as His father.

Ok, lets get on track again and go to the Room :
As soon He open the door I understand why my friend's dream was this room
OMG !!!. The first thing that impact you is the enormous projector, weights like 300 pounds
and He can easily hide it with a push of 1 button. The room Is all on concrete, like a bunker.
The pictures upload it before don't make Justice of what my eyes are seeing here.
The Room is so well made, everything have a meaning on why or where.
With two rows of seats you feel like your are In a real class A theater.
Besides the upper row are two Sub monsters, JL Gotham. They weight like 400 each.
In front you have an extraordinary cabinet with All Mcintosh units you can imagine.
On the sides of the front of the cabinets are the XRT2K with The center channel XCS2K, and this center channel is big!!.
The rear projection TV is only for the Media server, don't be fooled with it
Your movies goes only with the Stewart that comes from the ceiling.
So many amps and power you can bleed your ears out.
For example, Ivan Use the 1.2k for the tweeters of one side.
We are talking here like 20k of watts In this room, please Ivan, correct me if i'm wrong.
When he turned on all the system feels like it was launching a rocket station.
Too many blue meters , and buttons.....

He started the show with the server and finish with movies.
Is not easy to have both worlds ( 2ch stereo and H/T) and He solve that Equation on His room perfectly.
The bass is so massive that I had headaches The whole day, was that awesome.
The bass is so fast is not normal. The sound is so in your face you could believe the band is in front of you.
I could go for ever telling you the virtues of the room but my english in not good.

I want to finish saying that Ivan hosting is A+.
Was like His first time showing THE ROOM.
Never got tired of our many many many questions and always with a friendly Response.
If you want to hear the best Home theater in the world come visit Him and I Bet you
that my words are getting short of what your are going to experience.

Thanks Ivan and family for that wonderful unforgiving day.

Nelson

Don't forget I have mine also.

My review is coming soon. I'm taking my time to explain what I witnessed.

I have seen a number of pictures of this room, but the picture of you two in the room created a sense of scale.

Magnificent,!
