I have a masseto pre amp on the way and contemplating on getting shindo power amp. If I do, I will have to change to high efficiency speakers. My dealer recommends cessaro chopin at 96 sensitivity and 6 ohms. Any thoughts on this? I have also in mind trenner friedl and audio note speakers on the short list.

They all sound like viable options with Shindo. You may be better off in the 8-10 ohm range, which I believe AN's are. I believe the T & F's are also 8-10 ohm, as are the DeVore Orangutan's. I believe the AN's and DeVore's are a more proven match..., not to suggest the others will not work.

How big is your room?
What kind of music do you listen to?
In addition to the Devores, which are a well acknowledged match with Shindo, you should check out the Line Magnetic 755i speakers which I can tell you from personal experience work very well with Shindo.
If you go with your dealer's recos, make sure you get an extended audition with Shindo gear. I have not heard of anyone using either of those speakers with Shindo gear.

You need to specify which Shindo amp's you are thinking about.

If you are thinking SET the speaker choice becomes much more limited. In any case I would never do less than 8 ohm's and make sure the impedance curve is flat to get the most out of your amp's.

If your Shindo dealer is an authorized dealer I'm sure he will advise you correctly. Good luck.
