Dave,....congratulations for a truly awesome music system, and welcome to the club of proud Accuphase owners.

An electronic system of this class is a real challenge for the speakers. In my case it easily shows the limits of my B&W 800 D2, and only listening with a pair of B&W 800 D3 revealed the full potential of the Accuphase system.

Dave the color on your Sonus faber Stradivari Homage is really great.

Thanks...
I'm using Wireworld Gold Eclipse 7 Ic's and speaker cables.

What are you upgrading from?
Well...I was using an ASR Emitter II amp ,ASR Basis phono pre-amp , Wadia 861se CD player, and a vintage McIntosh MR-77 Fm tuner. I had the ASR equipment since 2010.

Yes..I love the original violin red on the Strads, too!
I know that I have hundreds of hours of break-in ahead, but on first listen there seems to be a much better control of the Strads woofers leading to a deeper more robust bass response. There's a burnished, slightly mellow quality to the treble which takes the hard edge off familiar recordings. Overall, I'm very impressed with how the Accuphase gear is revealing more music,too...which is very good!..but I expect that, at this level of quality. I anticipate hearing changes for the better, in the coming weeks.
