She only sprung for the deposit. Not extra tubes yet LOL. I think this might have been a bribe to get the work stuff out of the basement so we can do the remodel there. Buts she's amazing anyway.

Best Sir,

Bob
That's been one of the selling points all along for me. I've got tons of new old stock tubes from my grandpa stash. But I doubt any of them are matched. Lots of 6550 and 6L6.

Thank you! I had the camera setup for taking real baby pics so I just swing it around and took a couple of my glowing orange baby.

Very nice indeed, that will make for a great system. And tube rolling will provide your wife with birthday gifts for years to come[emoji106]

Been putting in A LOT of time on work projects in the home office/workbench. Also, spending hours down in the basement going though all the grandparents stuff to make room for the basement remodel. I'm pumped to have a dedicated listening area! But needed to have a little music down here, the Sonos and Headphones weren't cutting it. Moved the PrimaLuna amp and got the B&W 703 out of retirement. Not a bad little system at all. Ordered a rack so I can use the shelves. It's a total mess right now, but the goal is to change that!

You got that right! Been doing some upgrades here, and it's taking longer than planned (of course!). Even had to move some pictures on the wall to make way for a rack. Never ends, but I enjoy the long pauses to listen to the music!

The older I get the more I enjoy organization. In college you had a bath from the front door to the kitchen to the bedroom to the hi-fi system. Everything else was full of junk.

My wife call it the 'ooo shiny' effect. I'll be working and a song I like comes on and I have to sit down an listen. Then that turns to an hour.
