Default MX-R or VX-5 Twenty for Surround Speaker Amp

Hi:
I was curious what your opinions are about a choice of a surround amp for my system. I am stuck between a used pair of MX-R's (non Twenty) vs the VX-5 Twenty. I am using MX-R Twenty amps for my FL and FR channels. I have a VX-5 bi-amping my center channel and am about to upgrade that to Twenty status. I hope that brings the sound closer to what I am hearing from the MX-R Twenty.
Since surrounds are not as critical as the fronts I feel using the MX-R Twenty on surrounds is overkill. But the MX-R (non-Twenty) seems an interesting option vs the VX-5 Twenty.
I would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks!

Get VX-5 Twenty and bi-amp it for your center. Move your current VX-5 to surrounds.

Kzhtoo:
So you do t even think I will hear the benefits of upgrading the VX-5 to Twenty on the rears, no less using MX-R's. Got it.
Thanks for your reply.

I really wish I could find a single MX-R and upgrade that and use the VX for the rears.

Have a general question, is VX-5 Twenty superior to MX-R? KX-5 Twenty superior to KX-R?

The Twenty upgrade to me is one of the biggest sound differences in an amp that I've ever heard. I haven't done an A/B between the VX5/20 and MXR, but I will find out and let you know. popspin, email me at ctsooner@alumni.ou.edu

A single mx-r for the center would be so sweet!
