One tip: Don't update the firmware. After I finished installing it, I updated the firmware and it became useless. Not the end of the world, just had to do a hard reset to factory defaults and start over.

Can't find the thread anywhere for the wireless modem that everyone loved. I get perfect reception on my auralic downstairs, but constant dropouts upstairs. I've added a network express upstairs to no avail, so I need to pull out the big guns and throw this home wifi as far as it will go. Can someone give me that reference or point me to the thread.

Get the new ASUS router RT-AC5300. It has unbelievable range and is triband. Remember the 2ghz band is the one with the longest "range" the 5ghz bands are faster but not as much range.
