It gets here on Monday. I may see if I can get one at Best Buy before then. These drop outs are about to send me over the edge.

The ASUS RT-AC3100 and ASUS RT-AC88U have the same chipset as the RT-AC5300, but are dual-band. They are just as fast as the RT-AC5300 with just as much range, but only have one 5ghz channel, so they can not support as many simultaneous connected 5ghz devices. I just got the ASUS RT-AC3100 since the ASUS RT-AC88U is not available in Canada.

The ASUS RT-AC3200 is an older model. (A bit confusing.)

I was experiencing drop out weakness, so got everything offered (the 5300). Asus likely created my drop outs so they would be able to sell a new unit.
