The impact on the RT60 is clearly visible. I've ordered a new mic stand to have better reading |

Yes, good point. The one measure which did change was RT60 - lowered.

I've promised new measures and here they are. It took some time taking them.
I took left and right but they basically tell the same story. I have an issue with the 40Hz and 60Hz. I've used Audirvana plug-in to correct the issue using the recommended filters given by REW. I'm kicking myself why I haven't done it sooner. I have a much clearer bass. However, I'm curious what could generate such nodes in the room and how I could correct it. |

40hz can be pretty hard to control with even a ton of something like the soffit traps, but with enough it can help. With 60hz that is just a matter of adding more trapping in corners. No room is going to be totally flat. Most mastering rooms that are totally built out have swings of 15db easily.

I'm using active treatment for the 40Hz and 60Hz issue. I already have tri-traps in the front but maybe I should add some monster traps in the back. What do you think ? Otherwise, do you see other improvement that I could make ? |

Hi Georges,
Rew is recommending to test around 75dB, when I look at Your graph it looks like 60dB. 15dB peaks are not bad, if you can half them with panels you are there.

All I know is that the volume is quite high while leaving some headroom. I guess I need to buy a new amp. |
