I am using the new TAOC ASRII rack, quite an improvement towards the old one (ASR), more natural sounding and darker blackground.

Not to in any way discredit your findings William, but It's funny how people hear things differently. I asked a local Taoc Dealer if they thought it was worthwhile trading up to the ASRII and this was their reply - "I don't think it makes sense upgrading ASR to ASR II, I really doubt you will hear the difference in performance. I already had ASR II PW in and can't really hear an improvement in sound." The only difference in the ASRII is the new honeycomb shelf boards, so it seems to be an incremental improvement, rather than completely new design.
