1kw...

Thanks!

We will have the zinio link on our site and post it here as soon as it goes live around the 8th. Of course we get to keep a higher percentage if you buy it from us!

And this issue will not have any extra content, but starting with the feb 12 issue it will. We just felt that it would be nice to be out there right now instead of waiting for feb...

Hey Jeff,
Just skimmed thru the new issue. Another great one! I find them to be quite helpful in discovering new music. The T. Monk at the It Club, Mavis Staples, Tom Petty & Mellencamp (just to name a few) have all been excellent additions to my library! I'm looking forward to Ella & Duke at the Cote D'Azur. I clicked the cover and it took me right to Music Direct! Excellent!

I too save them to my iPad for convenience. I'll be ordering the zinio version when available. Keep up the great work!

Reg

Thanks a lot Jeff !
Great issue, as always.
I found interesting that you prefered the 500P with the Mc275 and the 500 T with the 1.2kWs.
I also use the 1000P with my 2301's.
BTW, do you plan to review the 2301's ?

Gotta see if they have a pair available for review...

Great Jeff !
It's amazing that these amps have not been reviewed yet by an important hi-fi journal. And not only in the US ....

The way I understand it -- as of RMAF, he still has them (since early 2009). No official review yet that anyone has been able to garner.

Ron-C mentioned at RMAF 2010 -- on extended manufacturers loan & when asked if he knew when a review was forthcoming -- mentioned Harry had a question regarding the amp and was directed to ask Ron Evans. It was my impression, the information from Ron Evans was needed to complete the revew.

The only comment I can recall is this from April 2010 from Harry:

"As far as I’m concerned, this 300-watter is the state of the art in tubed amplifiers. A masterpiece of the design art. It is so pellucid in its freedom from an identity of its own as to be extremely difficult to evaluate using contemporary audio terminology. Review in progress."
