Raidho 3.1

I just took interest on these speakers as many recommended it and has good reviews. Any thoughts on these speakers that will be driven by my mc601s?

give them a try, the tweeters are one of the best in the business (IMHO)
I have the much smaller X1 in my second set, really like them, they are throwing a large soundstage, with pinpoint voice/instrument placement.

Mids and highs are great with the X1's, deep/slam bass lacking a bit. (using two JL F110 to help them :-))

My previous speakers were the Raidho C3.1's which, after hearing them with the ribbon tweeter almost makes one melt in the sweet spot. The upper end clarity is spot on IMO. Surprisingly too, those three small 4.5 inch bass drivers produce some strong, definitive pounding. Overall they are very transparent, smoothe w/o being too warm. Just a very nice gutsiness about them that attacked the music in realistic way. They generate a large soundstage and don't get in the way -- especially at 7.87 inches wide.

Besides being very pretty and easy on the eyes, the overall footprint is very small.

I was told by Lars that they needed to be very close to the side walls -- without touching of course, but extremely close & toe in was rather severe too. More so than one expects.

The problem I do see with the brand as it moves forward is the departure of Michael Borresen and Lars Kristensen from Raidho Acoustics. Michael is a smart cookie & innovator whereas Lars is great at management. So, time will tell.
