I had thought I might have taken a picture with mine directly on top of my MC501s, but I guess not. Anyhow, I just took a couple pictures of the system with the PPPs resting on their own dedicated Quadraspire shelves. I think they look great that way -- personally -- and it gives them room to breath, while letting the MC501s run unencumbered on top.
By the way, on a humorous note, what at first glance appears to be a questionable interior decorating decision is actually a carefully constructed bass trap. That little Taos chair, aka artist chair, in the corner is supporting a couple of pillows and a fairly heavy wool Navajo blanket hanging down the back to the floor. My research indicates wool blankets are an excellent absorption treatment. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking with it until a better solution can be implemented. Hey, it sounds better than it looks. Furthermore, behind the hanging Navajo blanket is an ATS fiberglass board. :-) But I should have pulled that chair out of there before I took the picture. That looks like of tacky, huh? And the cherry Quadraspire shelves and the cherry Nautilus speakers are a much closer color match than what comes out in the photo. Anyhow, that's an updated shot of the Navajo Room with the PPPs on dedicated shelves. Still a work in progress ...

Hey, thanks guys. If shelves are something you still have to tackle, joeinid, then I really like the McIntosh on Quadraspires! I saw a picture of that on the McIntosh facebook page taken at a show and flipped out. Then I ordered a set for myself.
Edit, looks like those of us on this thread at this moment had an opportunity to read my further meanderings. I went ahead and pulled that off this thread. If Dan comes back with any more Houston Person posts maybe I can address it there. Ha ha. Quote:

Britt.......I really like the look and theme of your room. The Quadrasphere racks have improved the visual impact, and your gear looks beautiful sitting in and on the racks. The room looks like a very nice place to sit and enjoy music. It is more impressive than you give it credit for being. I like it.
