Hey Dan, yes, followed it to the letter. Both antennas installed and I took the MB50 to the room with the router and did it there... still nothing :-/

Hate to say it.....I just traded mine in because of this. VERY difficult to set up.
I had it set up at my previous home.....if you can get it, sounds great. Frustrating for sure! Sorry you are going through this. The Play-fi App is horrible as well.

I would try setting your router in 2.4 only for example in case is dual or multiple mode.

Restart all devices and try again.

Recommend you start fresh by deleting and reinstalling Play-Fi app. Also, when you select "Set-up new device" within Play-Fi app, be sure to wait until WI-FI/Net LED on MB50 changes from rapid blinking to slow pulsing pattern before proceeding to next step of setup.

I think it’s in the Play-Fi software that causes the issues...my play fi was very difficult to setup on my anthem avm60 pre/pro as it could never find my network.

I have a node2 connected to my McIntosh c2300 now with zero issues.

I have an MB50, followed the set-up instructions and haven't had any issues. It maintains the best Wi-Fi connection of any streaming device I've tried. But then, I've only used it to stream Spotify and Tidal.

*** PROBLEM SOLVED ***

Thank you all for your feedback, really appreciate you taking the time to look into this for me.
I called McIntosh this morning and they had me do a factory reset (strange that you have to reset a brand new product) and it worked!
Right after the reset, the MB50 was discoverable and the Play-Fi app connected it to wifi.

And now, with a 24-hour delay, I am off listening to some music!
