Fair enough. However I wasn't too impressed with the soulution room at RMAF. I am always impressed with d'agostino.

That is so true. To judge the performance of a piece of equipment based on isolated listening experiences under show conditions is premature at best. The difference in performance between a piece of equipment under optimal power delivery, isolation, room acoustics and speaker placement versus a non-optimal configuration in any of these factors, even in non-show room conditions, is night and day.

Yes, I'm aware and agree. However that room must have had half a million dollars in it, so I think some level of awe would be in order. But not really. Other rooms were even more cramped and less ideal, yet sounded better. I'm sure soulution is good, it just hasn't impressed me with my limited exposure to it. And I can't afford it anyway!

The Soulution gear can be had at a discounted price. I own the stuff and enjoy it but all the high end stuff is good. It's impossible to try or listen to all the possible combinations. Soulution gear has been extensively reviewed. That does give me some confidence in it.
