I can't dispute that possibility since I'm not familiar with that particular study/experiment but I would find that extremely surprising since I've never read, heard or seen anything from official factory sources suggesting this to be the case.
If indeed that is true, this would of course have serious performance implications given the reactive nature of loads inherent in most loudspeakers.
Perhaps an excuse for another tour!
