As an owner of a VSi55 (very similar to the VSi60, other than driver tubes) and a former owner of a VS110, I would definitely opt for the VS115. The benefit of the additional overhead of power, even if you don't use it, and the balanced connections (since your equipment already has it) far outweigh the additional cost. I never felt that the VS110 was lacking for power, but there have been times that the VSi55 just can't make the dynamic swings on the large scale music. I think you will read similar statements in the Stereophile review of the VSi60.

Thanks markmck79,
I plan on listening to the VS115 and others before I make a decision. Cyril is correct. I have to listen and make a decision on what I hear. If I go back yo a tube amp, I'll have to modify my listening habits. |

Are you referring to the dealer in Lake Grove?

Hifi engine only has some old manuals.
Manuals are copyright of the manufacturers - if they do not release them or have then online the only way is getting copies from them. Some manufacturers will send you pdf versions after you provide the serial number of your unit. |
