Default Cyclops replacement

I've heard that Shunyata has discontinued the Cyclops and has something new coming out next month. Does anyone know what's replacing it?

Since I use a Cyclops v2 on each amp, that means two Cyclops, and four power cords. That adds up in price, but does it work great. Anyway, I suggested they add a single side of the Cyclops into a cable, such as the Sigma HC. That would provide the benefit of the Cyclops, and only require one cable per amp. Whether they are doing that or not, I have no idea, but if they do then I guess I will buy two, and sell the Cyclops and cables.

Bud

Lumin S1
Pass XP-20 pre, X600.5 amps
Magico S5 speakers

Shunyata Triton v2/Typhon for source, Cyclops v2 (2) for amps
Shunyata Z Anaconda XLR analog ICs, Z Anaconda speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables
Revelation Audio Passage Cryo-Silver Reference DB-25 umbilical power cable

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
Three 20 amp circuits.

I do know that the replacement will retail for $3K, so maybe they are adding a cable...that said, I know that CG was asking on another forum if people are interested in a Typhon with outlets, so maybe it is a downsized Typhon with outlets? Guess we'll have to wait a whole week until CES to find out!

Hmmm, was thinking of getting a cyclops to compare against my running springs Duke on my Pass XA100.5's (only have a single outlet for the room) but I guess I'll wait to see what Shunyata has in the works.

Just curious. Why do you use a Cyclops V2 on each amp rather than a single Cyclops V2 for both amps?

Because each amp is on its own circuit.
