Great ! Now I am stupid because I question myself and don't take anything granted, as advertised. I'm impressed. Even if I am not a «flat-earthed». At least, I treat you respectfully and I am open minded to discuss without accusing another one of being «idiots». Have a great day and don't forget to listen to music, not to your system.

Oh and no need to reply or add some other kind of insult because I quit that site. I know that you will be happy to be all alone together. One last word, look at my system and I must add that I have several Shunyata power cords. Not so bad for a redneck with more than 10 000 lp. Bye everyone.

So you bought products from a company whose engineering and performance claims you call a "joke". You're right, you are far more open minded than I thought.

Thank you Venere. I do my best under difficult circumstances to inject some humour into life...

In my opinion, the erosion of civil communication relates in part to the fact that so much is communicated on-line, or at a distance. There are fewer opportunities to communicate in person--and more on-line "go-to-meetings". I know the difference because when I speak at dealer events, at shows or in any other face-to-face setting, everything is perfectly friendly and goes on in a very civil manner. Alternatively, People tend to contribute content in forums they would never say in person. I always try to remember that when posting a comment--and that's not easy. I've made my mistakes, too. Its like driving and verbally vilifying the car or driver in front of you. There is a de-personalization that takes place on line (and in cars because I am an offender in that regard)-- though the offending driver has NO idea. Look, had you phrased your comment as a question rather than a judgement, there's no issue here. I can see why there would be skepticism, because speaking frankly, our product category deserves it. I'm here only to state facts and defend our company's integrity when there are comments made that I believe are untrue. I digress, but just my 2 cents--ok, maybe .$.35 Best regards, Grant Shunyata Research Last edited by GrantS; 02-17-2016 at 08:42 PM. |

Well said Grant. It is indeed the anonymity of modern life that has contributed to the lack of respect among people. Sadly, I dont see that ever changing. You know, sometimes when people talk about the good old days they have a point. Oh well, that's "progress". It's Steve Jobs world and we just live in it.

Very well put, Grant. It is indeed a degenerating society. Gives me all the more pleasure to stay home listening to my Sigma PC's and Anaconda signal/speaker cables through my system where peace and serenity reign.
