Default Pass Labs and PMC?

Hi Guys

Just checking to see if anyone here running this as a combo or has run it.

I am looking for real world feedback from members because I have been seriously considering something Passlabs for my MB2's the last few months and am finally in a position to upgrade my front end.

my speakers are 91db@ 1w so they are pretty easy to drive and with winter on the way a little heat wont bother me.

I did try the Bryston 7bsst2's a while back and loved their power but they left me a bit cold with female vocals and I am hoping something from Pass will fair better for me and my tastes.

as there is several thousands of years experience on AA I figured it would be wise to ask before I drag 50kg of electronics home for a demo from the local dealer.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm 7 months and not one response

about to pull the trigger on a set of XA160.5 monos and XP20 pre amp but will have to buy them without an audition and due to the lack of feedback to my initial post here i don't know what to do.

can someone please offer me some feedback on PMC with Pass Labs?

I cannot comment to those speakers but the 100.5's are amazingly good so I would assume the 160.5's will hit all your magic buttons. The XP20 is a little more cool and has a first row type sound but is very detailed.

Agreed. When I pair XP20 with XA160.5 , I felt it was just right.
Now using only XP20, I felt it is rather neutral toward cool side and highly detailed. Jumping factor and dynamic was very good.

Used XA160.5 and XA100.5 and XP20 before. Unless you have big room and difficult load, the XA100.5 and XP20 matched very well

Hi,

Xa100.5 with the ARC ref3 is a very good match.

in place from the 160.5 go with the Xa100.5 and a REF5 se!

with the PMC from what I have listen is a nice combo.
