Default Sigma Power Cords

Was hoping Grant or Caelin could comment on the performance gain of Anaconda versus Sigma power cords. I am considering upgrading my two Anaconda PC's with Sigma HC cords. I use one for my stereo amplifier (Ayre VX-5) and one feeds my Triton.

Upgrade the amp cable first, especially if the amp runs directly to the wall. It is a significant and substantial upgrade.

Thanks Caelin. I am thinking about adding Typhon too - do you still supply the Typhon umbilical, or is there a Sigma variant of it?

The TYPHON comes with the TYPHON UMBILICAL cable included in the box. It was designed specifically to optimize the performance of the TYPHON.

We have no plans to build other TYPHON specific umbilicals, however, I am quite sure that someone will put a C19 version of the SIGMA HC on a TYPHON in the first week of production. I don't recommend it because it must be longer in length and it is a slightly stiffer cable.

This implies you have not started production of the Sigma HC. I know you built and selectively distributed an initial run of Sigma cables, but perhaps not the HC model.

Has "full" production commenced? I ask because I have placed an order and the distributor is more than a little vague on timing. He has kindly agreed to give (not literally, of course) me his Sigma HC, which is already in the order queue, as the suggestion is the next orders will take some time to fulfill.

Sigma is in full production including HCs. We are running overtime and multiple shifts to catch up with the backorders. Orders are shipped in the order that they were received.

Thanks for clarifying. The new "box" looks pretty serious, too. Can't wait

I came hear to hear about experiences with the new Sigma Zitron cables (analog, HC, digital) over the older line Zitron cables (Cobra, Python, Anaconda), but I do not see any reports. Has anyone tried the switch yet? Reports?

Replaced 2 Zitron Cobras and 1 Zitron Anaconda with one of each of the new sigmas. Currently have about 100 hours on each. My initial impressions are that these are a big step up in performance.

I will report further once I have clocked up a few more hours
