Nope, not bright on any of my systems. The series 7 has a few improvements, including a circular dielectric. The SQ is improved also

Hello, i'm new here!

I have a integrated amplifier Hegel H160, with Hegel CD2PA cd player connected.
I would like to change the stock power cord. I was looking to Gigawatt LC-2 MKII and Furutech Absolute Power, which both have good reviews.

I was told by my retailer that Wireworld Silver Electra 7 was a better product.

What do you think? My Hegel are transparent, dynamic and almost neutral, don't you think that the Wireworld Silver Electra 7 will be to bright or something like this?
I don't want to have a "cold" sound.

PS: unfortunately i don't have the possibility to listen these power cord...

Just added another 2 WW SE 7 cables to my living room system. I now have a total of 5 and will probably need 2 more to get all the main components on WW cables.

In this latest round, I put a 2m PC on my Panny plasma using a female end converter supplied by Ivan and I can now run that line directly to my wall. This means I have removed the Panny from my PS Audio thus lessening the overall load on that power conditioner.

Secondly, put another 2m PC on my Paradigm Sub 15 and immediately noticed a tighter bass on both movies and music. WireWorld really seems to help with components that pull large peak loads (as both the plasma and sub do).

As soon as I get my upgraded Silenzio back from -E- I'll be putting another 2m SE 7 on that bad boy. With WW on preamp, amp, Bryston BDA-2, Silenzio, Sub, and tv my whole 5.1 system will reach a new level.

Love these cables and very thankful those I have purchased these from, both new and used!!

Was the load too important ? I've noticed an improvement in image quality when I plugged my TV on the PS Audio.
However, I make sure that I don't use the TV when I'm listening to music or the load would be too important (I use a dedicated amp for the TV)

I did notice improvement when I first plugged my VT50 into the PS Audio a couple of years ago. So yes, it does help video. When I took the VT50 off the PS Audio, but added at 2m WW Silver Electra 7 to the power feeding the TV I felt the picture was just as good, with the added benefit of getting a power-hungry device off my P5. This setup gives me much more headroom on my P5 for running my audio equipment, and the improvement there was not subtle.

If I had a P10 I'd definitely plug the VT50 into it. Like you, I did turn off the TV during seriously listening, but didn't always remember and honestly it's just one less thing to think about.

Ivan recommended the silver Electra 7s to me for my system. I was skeptical based on their price as I had a couple of sets of more expensive brands in house. I installed 3 Electra 7s into my system last night. I won't go into detail, but I will just say everything improved, and this was cold out of the box. These cables are the real deal and they seem to have great synergy with my Burmester gear. On top of that, they are easy to work with and not so intruding on the area in the back of my system like a lot of python size power cords. This taught me, it doesn't matter what gear you have, the cables can make or break a system. You can't just throw expensive well reviewed cabling into your system and think it is going to perform to it's potential, and you won't know it's potential until you find cabling that is the right match. With such a positive experience with the WireWorld Silver Electra's my next move is to get the WireWorld interconnects.

You've convinced me. Have a 2m Silver Electra inbound to go with the Eclipse Gold & Silver ICs.

PC arrived and, thankfully, others have reported similar results so you won't think me crazy, but, cold out-of-the-box I heard a clear improvement in the lower end in both depth and smoothness. A most pleasant surprise.
