Amazing Bart. I've always said that the room is one of the most important component to sound and it's much cheaper to correct than upgrading amp.

Anyone should really put a lot of thought into this.

I'm looking forward at the results after the panel since the speakers are in the living room so integration is key to keep it design friendly.

Bart, I've looked at their website (including the pictures of amazing rooms) and I've seen their 3D consultation.

Did you do that before using them on-site? Do you have any feedback on the service. It would be a great place to start IMO (even if just for speaker placement).

Hi Georges, as Ben lives not so far from me (250km), I preferred to have him 'live'.
But I know he helps customers overseas.
Room treatment seems possible that way, but speaker placement might prove to be more difficult.
London is not that far though.

I've read good things about Jim Smith.
He travels around the States.

Wow Bart ! What a great experience. Thanks a lot for sharing. I am glad that you already got very palpable results. Speaker placement and room acoustics is the key before anything else.
The best system in the world sounds almost like a budget one or maybe like a Devialet Phantom speaker. It makes no sense to buy expensive gear and put it in a bad room.
Looking forward the next steps.

Bonsoir Jérôme.
Acoustic panels and bass traps were ordered and have arrived.
I'll set a date with Ben now to install everything.
Our wall has been painted in a colour that will combine nicely with the racks and gear.
The Missus is happy, and I am too!

Cool !
I re read my message and realize that it may be badly interpreted. I did not mean at all that your room was bad before treatment.
Neither that you have the best system in the world !
I was just making a general statement.
