New grill and attachment on the bass cabinet?

New single port on the mid?

Not sure what are the 'knobs' on the top rear of the bass enclosure; possibly for finer adjustment of the mid enclosure stepper?? Hard to tell but possibly longer adjustment 'rails' at the front of the bass cabinet for holding mid front spikes making for finer adjustment of the mid?

Happy to be wrong on any this. I trust Wilson to have it right. Obvious Alexia heritage.

These are very good speculations. There are new enclosures. There is finer adjustment capability as well as enclosure to enclosure isolation.

The knobs are actually strain relief/seals for cables from crossover to upper modules. This is part of what gets us more cabinet volume in the woofer cabinet.

Hans or Gary have details.

Heard Alexia v2 tonight in Seattle. They were powered by d'agostino progression stereo and the new progression preamp. Sounded fantastic as you would expect!

Dynamics and separation of instruments are the most impressive thing I heard.

Didn't get to hear anything other than the official presentation, nor did I get to take any pictures other than these... Sorry about that.

Good to see Bill back in his 'school yard' enjoying what he's been pursuing for what 40 years. He sure as heck qualifies for it & BTW deserves it too -- he'll be well traveled working for Wilson Audio & he'll embrace every moment.

Class -- school is back in session.

Thanks for the pics.

Best sir,

Bob

Default New Wilson coming?

Thanks for the pictures and congrats to you both on your new Alexia speakers. I have owned them since originally introduced and am still amazed by what they deliver. I was unfortunately not able to attend the event last night.

I do have the V2s on order and they should arrive end of July. They are coming in Dark Titanium and black grills and hardware to match the Alidas and Mezzo and I love the color.

Bill McKiegan from D'Agostino will be by my home this morning to help final setup of the new M400s and S250 amps that were delivered last week. Will get a few weeks with them on the V1 Alexia's before the new ones arrive

Mine are also Dark Titanium but with clear hardware and black grilles.

Bill McKiegan was at the demo last night, the new D'Agostino gear is soooo nice. All of it is nice. Dan's work is impeccable. Really, Dag+Wilson is the dream combo. Never heard anything better.

So that's where Bill was headed this morning.

Indeed it was a very fun evening. Of course it was made moreso because I could finally confirm the imminent delivery of your Alexias Marc!
