Had C48 on MC1.2Kw, that combo made a audible his to my sitting position (apro 2.5-3meters away from the speakers). Speakers was Klipsch Cornwall III.
I had to use "Rothwell attenuators" to make the "his" go away. On my other speakers BW CM9, the his was not a problem Accuphase, no problem. :\ |

For me it is definitely much more noticeable with the EQ engaged. With the EQ off it is nearly silent.

I have a c52 with mc601. I had the exact same issue a few months ago. Drove me crazy. Ended up being that my shunyata power cable was in an abnormal orientation with respect to the speaker cable. I think the electrical interference was disturbing the speaker signal. I changed the orientation of the cable and it was gone!
