The "Mc" heatsink seems a bit gimmicky. That impression may be partially because the announcement email led with that vs. the more significant features, especially the DAC. Very minor nitpick - the amp looks like a real winner.

I have the MA6700 and I think the phono stage does a better job than the DAC so i was planning to buy an external DAC but maybe with this new MA8900 problem is fixed.

Looks like a great unit. Nice and compact size compared to the MA8000, though the specs for SNR are a little lower.
