Default B&W and beyond...

D3's are definitely my front-runners but I'm considering a few others too around that price point and perhaps a bit beyond, perhaps as far as Wilson Alexia's.
Well, get back to the thread with whatever you choose, AV. I'd love to read your new speaker review, be it B&W or otherwise, mate.

Signatures are special limited edition speakers. The Signature 800 was the first model 800 and was tigers eye maple. Its design in black was taken over into the standard lineup and became the flagship model.
I did concentrate on the flagships of the standard lineup.

Smile A message from the OP

Martin..... I think that you did a beautiful job outlining the evolution of the B&W 800 lineup. I couldn't have asked for more.

Thank you very much.

Sorry, you are correct. Signature 800 was tiger's eye.

Sounds pretty unusual. Have you seen any photos of this unique speaker?

Thumbs up What a base!

Buddy..... Thanks for the great photo. Is that your speaker?

If it is, please forgive my ignorance...but is that the base that the speaker came with?
