Thanks for the post. It sure has taken a long time for someone to do a write up on the DAC8. Everyone who has one seems to really like it.

Mike...I agree. Aerosmith on AA (not the group ) has one and he seems to like it a lot

Had two for a while, replacing the one in our main system with an Esoteric D-03. The Esoteric is noticeably better in many respects (soundstage, imaging, bass, high end accuracy)...for four times the price. But the DAC8 is hard to beat in its class.

Not surprisingly, the DAC8 pairs great with the DSi200.
