I understand the need for you especially on the rear wall, because you're really close to it. I don't know why but I thought your room was bigger...
Your seat is very nice too. Looks inviting.
Congrats !

You are correct this room is only 19' X 14'. Due to a bass issue related to the ceiling going from 8' to 9.5' half way across I get better sound with the speakers on a long wall. I have not tried the speakers on the short wall since I added some real traps to the ceiling early last year. I may try again around Easter if I can get my hands on some long Transparent Speakers cables as I will end up leaving the 1.2ks on the long wall.

I know it is hard to tell but the horizontal treatment above my audio rack it from a photo I took of one of my MBL's. The intent was just to get a portion of the speaker on the panel.

I have finished rerunning Room Perfect with the new panels in place. I am back at 99% RK. The percentage of processing has jumped from 17% to 27%.

I am going to listen for a bit seeing if switching from Focus1 to Bypass has a greater impact than before.

Here are a couple of pics from different angles.

Jim.......I really like the three panels with the guitars behind your listening chair. Lots of impact in those visuals. I also think the three panel violin looks excellent. The design looks intentional that the instrument doesn't line up, especially since the sheet music does line up. It is a very nice effect.

Looking forward to the end results after new Room Perfect measurements.

Oops. I forgot to move the mic stand for the MEN-220 before I took the photos. Will try a new one later.

My initial listening sessions leave me with the impression that the panels behind my speakers have locked in the music quite a bit. There appears to be less smearing and the volume can be turned up a bit before overloading the room.

I assumed that the stop-gap covered picture you see in my avatar was not doing the job and I was right.

So far everything is good.

Jim
