Barr -

I replaced my Sonus Faber Amati and rel g2 sub.

I actually swapped out the whole system though I did run the Amatis with the Shindo amp while I awaited the petite latour delivery. It worked nicely but of course wasn't as ideally matched with a 20 watt SET. The Amati's are great speakers though.

Completely amazing.

And I played one album three times - each time was a definite improvement over the other...look forward to the break in.

Very very pleased.
Excellent!

In a previous post you mentioned that you ordered a rack from Matt. Was it from Box Furniture Co.?

And finally...

Btw, these petite latours look better in person than by photo (and they changed the style slightly - and for the better I believe - by adding a port on the bottom of the front, and covering the horn, port and speaker openings with very transparent black fabric, in addition to the grill if attached). Not that it affects the sound but since speakers are so large it is nice to enjoy looking at them, especially in a non dedicated room.

I really like the looks of them.

I still prefer the look of the big latours, which are one of the most attractive speakers to me.
I believe all these Shindo speakers are elegant and retro, if boxy - but the photos don't do justice to it.

I was concerned about whether I would like their looks having only seen photos, but I definitely do.

And they are by no means petite - just in comparison. Around 17.75" x 17.75" x 40".
