Move from Alpha & Anaconda PCs to Sigma PCs
Quote:
I had been running some Shunyata Alpha PCs and Anacondas on my rig and replaced them all with (prior gen) Sigma: HC from wall to Triton, HC on Amp, Analog on preamp, Digital on Aurrender N10. Having said all that, I prefer the sound of the Anaconda over any of the Sigmas on my DAC. YMMV. In any case, yes, even the prior Sigma's are a giant leap from Alphas and a leap from Anacondas (except to my ear on my DAC). I'm afraid to try out the Sigma interconnects.... . |

When i put sigma analogs on my MC2301's the improvement was noticeable - i was very surprised (especially bass became more defined and in general a wider soundstage). They each sit on their own circuit directly to the wall. The rest of my gear goes through triton/typhon.

I'm interested to hear what you think. My dealer is bringing over the new Reference Powerisolater to try next week with some Ref XL PCs. I'm sure I'll love them. |

I did not want to get this thread to far off track so I created another thread to discuss the comparison of the Denali 600T and a Transparent Opus Powerisolater.
