Is it possible to hook up the digital out of the MP1100 to the input of the D1100? Has anyone tried this?

I am curious if it’s possible to run a MP1100 and D1100 without a C1100.

Only thing I see is analog to digital and digital to analog conversion for the phono stage.

Which most phonos can’t do, but the MP1100 has a built in analog to digital converter with digital outputs.
