Dan... I'm glad you tried reversing the fuses. They are amazing for the price!

Dave.......The MC601 amp takes a size small 10 amp Slo-Blo fuse. The MC452 takes a size large (32mm x 6.3mm) 15 amp Slo-Blo fuse.

MusicDirect and RevolutionPower both carry the HiFi Tuning Supreme fuses.

watercourse.......Ironic that with a moniker like yours, you would be the one to square me up on this. No wonder I couldn't make water.

I have classic fuses in my DAC, phono pre, and pre. Can anyone elaborate on the sonic differences between the classic and supreme fuses? Thinking about a supreme for my tube pre... Maybe my amp too...

Dave.......Are you considering installing the HiFi Tuning Supreme fuses in your three MC601's and the MC452?

Yes ... maybe... but seems like little bang for the buck? Should I put the $$$ towards more cd's or save it towards my headphone amp?

Did not seem like you were to impressed?

Dave.......It's not that I wasn't impressed, just not at the level I had anticipated. It may well be that with the two meter Wireworld Silver Electra power cords I am using on all components I may have squeezed the last percentage of supply voltage performance boost by using the HiFi Tuning Supreme fuses. I am not disappointed, and didn't mean to leave that impression.
