Just pulled the trigger on my first luxury watch!
And it's not what you, or I, even a couple weeks back, would have thought it would be.
Couple of hints: automatic mechanical movement, sapphire crystal and display back, stainless steel case, rotating bezel, polished case. This may be a company some of you may not have heard of, as it is definitely a flying-under-the-radar kind of brand, but for those that know it, is very highly and widely respected. So much so, that many of the guys at Worn and Wound have a slight obsession for it and own several models. Not Swiss, but made in Europe. Additionally, the build quality, fit n' finish, and engineering specification is as good as anything from the best Swiss manufactures. Lastly, this company has a reputation for building no-frills, seriously well-engineered, "We're not f**kin' around" watches, and as such, has developed technological innovations in some of their models that virtually no one else has.

Well, if it's not Swiss it had better be from A. Lange & Söhne, otherwise it's simply not luxury.
Well, maybe a Sinn 2300 but the jury is out on that one: https://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/2300.htm Last edited by AlienViolet; 07-16-2015 at 01:59 PM. Reason: content |

Reasonably close, but not a Junkers. I do like Junkers, though.
