MEN220 is fully balance when using balanced interconnects. RP-1 isn't.

I am in a smaller room with Dynaudio C4's. The MEN220 manual is a little tricky but once I got through it I managed to get the room calibrated to 99%.

This could be the best addition to my system since the addition of the C4's and I'm not even a McIntosh guy, lol. It makes the C4's sing like I have never heard them before. Focus, image, control and sound stage has never sounded better. When I Bypass and compare it is amazing what a difference it makes. I thought my system sounded great but was I ever wrong.

Possible the best tweak to date, though not cheap. I would highly recommend one if your listening room is less than ideal and the wife vetoes room treatment.
Congratulations. Your results and enthusiasm are great to hear. I am getting one of these units next month.

Awesome unit
Unless you're an analog purist or have a well treated room, I think DSP room correction is an absolute necessity. Love my MEN

Great addition to a system. I have two of them, so I don't have to be convinced.

Absolutely amazing!!!! I cannot believe how good this unit is. Been playing with it all day. It just proves how bad my listening room was with such big speakers. Best bang for the buck I have spent. If your room is boomy, irregular, and your wife has vetoed tube trap,etc.... Sneak one of these babies in. You will not regret your decision!

shpritz. Congratulation.

Btw, did you watch movies with your set up?
When I watch movies (mvp891) and listen to live band music (mcd1100), I have to by pass, else lost all the dynamic , especially Spaciousness.

Is this normal, or something wrong with my set up? Thanks

I figured out I need to even-out my room by adjusting balance knob on my C500. The RoomPerfect isn't quite getting it completely evened out, in spite of me getting 100% room knowledge from the unit. My question is - Going forward should I adjust my balance knob BEFORE I redo RoomPerfect again or AFTER I finish doing RoomPerfect?
