SP3 problem..Thoughts?

SP3 when in off/standby status won't turn on with remote or front panel buttons. After unplug/plug power cord then will respond normally. Also when I log on to the SP3, instead of graphic interface display, a page of "108CC000494E475F454449445300000000000000FE" and similar is displayed. Is there a home "fix" or do I need to box it and ship?

Steve

Default Netflix via Roku DD sound issues

Having intermittent sound issues when running Netflix through Roku 3 via HDMI. When watching DD or DD+ I get sound ticking and no movie audio, just the ticking sound. If I fast forward or reverse the audio will come back. I can also get audio back if i toggle the front SP panel Digital / HDMI buttons. I have the latest updates on both the SP3 and Roku 3. If I recall, this only started after the latest SP3 update. v2016 04, w/o the 4k HDMI board.

Suggestions?

I had this to happen to me using Apple TV and I rebooted both and it went away.

Thanks for your suggestion, I re-booted both, cycled power on the Roku - still the same.

Since we're talking weird issues. Anyone have a static sound when using the TOSlink for audio on the 4k Roku? It sounds like a dropping the needle on a record over and over when I'm on the main menu.

I don't have the 4k board on SP3. Still waiting for the HDR version to come out.

Hi
I have not been on this thread for a while and am looking for advice. I have 1 of the original SP3's with Serial no 112.
I am moving to 4K and would like to continue to use the SP3 as it was intended for video pass thru. I see that they have replaced the original HDMI board which was a Momentum Data Systems HSR8-3D around 2015 with the HSR-82.2 HDMI board.
Has anyone upgraded their SP3 with this new HDMI board?
I ask because this new board still does NOT support HDR and is NOT HDMI 2.0a.
I realize it is almost impossible for Bryston to "chase" HDMI's always changing specs. But a few things, especially HDR are critical to get the full benefits of SUHD.
My question is, has anyone used their SP3 with the new HDMI board and passed thru HDR? What errors would I expect if the projector and source both support HDR? HDMI 1.4 does not support Rec 2020 colour space or HDR.
Is anyone aware of if or when Bryston will ever offer the ability to pass thru HDR?

Have you tried another HDMI cable?

Hi
Its not a cable problem, Bryston has already stated that the HDMI board in the SP3 from Momentum Data Systems HSR-82.2 is NOT HDMI 2.0a compliant therefore does not recognize an HDR flag and cannot pass an HDR signal from the source to the display device. I am just wondering if anyone has tried passing an HDR signal from source to display on an SP3. I don't know if you get no picture or it just does not have HDR. I suspect no picture.
