Pictures look great! Can you share how the men220 is working with the new speakers? Looks like you have pretty serious placement limitations. Is the men220 able to being out the best in your (impressive) system?

I am running it with the room setup configuration from my old 802's Diamond, and the sound is amazing. After I get about 200 hrs on the speakers, I will re-run the calibration again. I also have room acoustic treatments on all walls.

It's just getting better and better every day.

I am getting a rack custom built from timbernation, it will hopefully be impressive too.

Edit: I am lucky that I have some space behind the speakers from the old closets, and there is a door that it's always open when I am in the DEN, to the left of the left speaker.

You got one heck of an awesome system to be proud of. Those B&Ws in Rosenut look great in your room. Curious what you are using for your multiCh surround proc? I guess you have it setup with passthrough to the C2500 and MEN220?

Thank you.

My room is very small.

16 feet long by 13 feet wide.

But like I mentioned, I am lucky that I use the closest and the door to my advantage for speaker positioning. The inside of the closets are about 40" wide and 28" deep up to 32" with the door frames.

Thank you.

I use for now a Yamaha RX-A3000 for surround with the C2500 in passthrough mode.

EDIT: I wish I had an MX-150/51 or similar, but I think it's too much expensive of an investment for now. I will definitely get something better than what I have at one point.

Krusty, very nice! How does the sub work in the center? I have a 13 X 16' room to deal with and was going to do a custom rack to get my sub centered but someone advised against it. When I auditioned a previous sub we ran it in the middle and it was sweet. I can't fathom why it could be an issue.

Thank you.

The sub works pretty well in that position, much better than when I had it inside the closet behind the right speaker.

But, also consider its the version 2 of JL Audio and the MEN220 helps integrate everything together in my room.

I personally love it!

And.. its funny, but if you ever speak to Barry Ober from JL Audio, he will recommend one subwoofer only, always, but he will also recommend to cross it over at 80 Hz.
