From a post in MacInTouch:
"Apple seems to have taken something that works well - clicking on the Updates icon in Apps, replaced it with "Arcade", which I have zero interest in, and buried the app updates behind 3 clicks. Just opened this, and it shows recent updates with no option to see if there are new updates. Steve Jobs is hitting high RPM's in his grave with the Apple of late 2019."

This one’s pretty easy. Updates are now shown when you tap your account button, top right. I actually find it just as easy.

I won't be updating to iOS 13, Tony....after reading many of the posts on MacInTouch in-depth.

Apple has completely lost the plot since Steve Jobs passed.

I have no idea where you are getting this information. I have had no issue with wither 13.0 or 13.1. Updating apps is a piece of cake as Tony mentioned. There is a learning curve whenever software is changed but for the most part this has been easier than most.

My biggest issue is getting used to the size of the iPhone 11 Pro (not Max). For me it is too big and heavy. The major pain for me is closing apps without being able to double click on the home button and swiping up. I haven't become used to the swipe up without a button.

These guys sound like audiophiles complaining every time McIntosh releases a new product.

I finally had to give up on my 5SE. Correct size and shape but speed was becoming an issue.
