Default the abso!ute sound interviews nine great amplifier designers

the abso!ute sound interviews nine great amplifier designers in issue 223, May/June 2012.

Carver, Curl, Hammer, Johnson, Lamm, Ohashi, Pass, Reis, Rowland.

Their opinions and outlooks for the future are discussed.

You may or may not agree with them, but it is interesting hearing where they are coming from.

This is a very nice issue. These designers have very different philosophies. Most agree that type D amps don't quite have the performance of linear designs.

Yes, I read those last week. It was interesting how the type of amp each designer was currently involved with seemed to color his opinions.

Find it interesting that D'Agostino or Keith O. Johnson isn't on that list?
