My wife turns every car, including her new GMC Denali into what I call a rental, and of course she gets upset. While she always looked “hot” in the cars I have had through the years, there is no way she would get anything along these lines as a $100K plus car would accumulate curbed wheels, door dings, lotioned controls, piles of coupons under the visor, keys to nothing, Starbucks, salads, organic this and that and everything else you can imagine making it a rolling piece of crap, but I do love ❤️ her, can’t afford not to [emoji854]

Count my wife in. Bought her a new Lexus SUV last year and she trashes it. Tissues on the ground, granola wrappers, food particles in between the seats. Gross. Then she gets irritated when I tell her keep it clean.

Quite in contrast to my car. I have a portable vacuum, leather and interior cleaner, as well as wipes in my glove compartment. Plus I get my car washed twice a week.

At least her car smells like perfume...

My wife was the same way until we purchased her what I'll refer to as a "nicer" car. Prior to the MB E350 she drove small Japanese imports (compact hatch-backs from the late 80's-late 90's). Then in 1999 we purchased a new Mercury Cougar. Like most cars as they age, both cosmetic and mechanically it simply didn't make sense to keep it on the road. Still, she doesn't keep her vehicle as clean as I keep mine.

I guess I can understand your point of view but it's not like this was posted in a "audio category". Me, I like the fact that Audioaficianado has a variety of sub forums, which should be easy enough to avoid. That said I like seeing what's others are up to outside of the audio hobby. In fact look for my post early this coming year as I'm currently looking to replace my 2004 XJ8. IMG_2929.jpg

I have been fortunate, in this respect, that my wife grew up the daughter of a car dealer. She always drove new dealer plated cars in high school, but was told to keep them very clean.

The Trace.......If it upsets you to view the Automobile forum here, you may want to avoid it. There is nothing wrong with members wanting to share our excitement when reaping the rewards of our hard earned work.

Sure hope you find that burr under your saddle blanket soon. It appears to be irritating you quite a bit.
